Deokchi myeon, Imsil gun

Upper end of Seomjin gang that flows through Jeokseong myeon Sunchang gun to Daegang myeon Namwon gun is named as Jeokseong gang. It gets the name Seomjin gang from Daegang myeon. Surrounding of Jeokseong gang is really scenic. Sogari are relatively scarce but Keokji are plenty. There are lots of jumbo Keokji. You can find good campgrounds under the cozy forest shore. Run for about 6 km along the national road #24 from Sunchang towards Namwon and turn to the left at the forked street of Jibuk ri. The river is just in a few minutes. It takes about four hours by car form Seoul.
