Anglers land massive shark
A couple of East Coast anglers have landed a massive mako shark.

The 450 kilogram monster mako is thought to be the third largest game fish ever caught in New Zealand.

The shark was landed after a seven hour battle between man and beast.

Less than a fortnight ago a 380 kilogram great white shark was caught off Northland.

Both were landed using a 37 kilogram line.
