[ John ] Fishing Reports                       

It seems that the cooler weather has the bass biting again. I visited Buan, which is south of Gunsan, about three weeks ago and fished a small lake near my in-laws house. No-one knew if there were bass in the lake but it looked just too fishy not to have bass. We started out using plastic lizards in pumpkinseed color and caught a few. Changing to a jig and pig (leadhead jig and pork rind trailer) brought a few more to the stringer. I broke off four or five really nice ones, I had been using Spiderwire but it was breaking when I'd set the hook. Plan on going back soon.
